Gary founded Sagaz in 2010 and is a highly regarded, established and respected CA(SA) with extensive commercial and practical experience in managing and operating the full depth and breadth of our client’s financial affairs. He has been providing such services for 30 years. Gary’s practical approach and human touch is the key to his own success and why he is so admired andrespected by our clients.

Simon Minitzer
COO, Director

Simon Minitzer

Simon is a well healed CA(SA) with extensive multi jurisdictional and entrepreneurial experience, having operated in multiple countries across tech, finance, venture capital, real estate and FMCG. He is a deep thinker who loves to solve a problem smartly, but is also practical. He prides himself on delivering value for our clients, and a win for the client, is a smile for Simon.

Nadia Van Heerdan
Head of Accounting

Nadia Van Heerdan

Nadia completed her articles at BKR Logista in Stellenbosch in 2008. A qualified CA(SA), enjoys the structure she finds in accounting and tax, but also the unique aspects of each and every client at Sagaz. Having worked for Tyger Brands in Johannesburg as a management accountant Nadia gained international experience with KPMG in the Cayman Islands before returning to South Africa and joining Standard Bank as a financial manager where she was for 10 years before joining Sagaz. Nadia is always up for learning something new.

Rafeeq Taliep
Senior Accountant

Rafeeqa Taliep

Rafeeqa is the gold standard in Accounting knowledge and experience. Having received a National Diploma in Financial Information Systems (FIS), and with nearly two decades of diverse accounting experience across multiple industries - including trading, investments, hospitality, real estate, and mining. Sharing and learning amongst her peers is what motivates Rafeeqa, who thrives on delivering optimal and efficent accounting solutions Rafeeqa joined Sagaz in 2019.

Pindi Cwayi
Head of TAX

Pindi Cwayi

Pindi acquired a Bachelor’s Degree in Taxation (2011), followed by a Post Graduate Professional Qualification in Professional Accounting in Business (2017) with FASSET. In 2017 I passed my Professional Evaluation Exams with SAIPA and become a Qualified Professional Accountant in SA. Pindi completed her articles at Sagaz where she was first employed as a bookkeeper in 2012 and now she manages both accounting and taxation matters on behalf of the our clients.

Rudolph Livingstone-Louw

Rudolph Livingstone-Louw

Rudolph is nn accomplished and energetic financial and operations manager who prides himself on his desire to outperform all expectations. Rudolph has an obsession with attention to detail. Following completion of his studies in with a Bcom in Management Accounting with Honours, he spent time at Moores Stephens, Le Roux Group before joining Sagaz in 2022. Rudolph is a real peoples person who enjoys a challenge. Those that have the opporunity working with Rudolph, intstantly get why he is working in a Family Office.
